This Refund Policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are handled by Kate Schenk ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or purchasing services through our website or directly with us, you agree to this policy.

1. In-Person Equine Massage & Wellness Sessions

​

Cancellations by the Client

​

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not be charged.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment may be charged in full, unless we are able to rebook the slot.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will be charged in full.

Rescheduling

​

  • We are happy to reschedule appointments with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours may be treated as a late cancellation.

​

2. Cancellations by Us

​

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, adverse weather, or safety concerns.

​

If we cancel your appointment, you will be offered:

​

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time

​

3. Refunds

​

  • Refunds are issued only where applicable under this policy.

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Please allow up to 7–10 working days for refunds to be processed.

​

4. Unsuitable or Incomplete Sessions

​

If a session cannot proceed or must be stopped due to:

​

  • Safety concerns

  • Inaccurate or incomplete information about the horse

  • Behavioural issues that make treatment unsafe

The session may still be chargeable, at our discretion.

5. Packages and Block Bookings

​

  • Sessions purchased as part of a package or block booking are non-refundable once the first session has taken place.

  • Unused sessions may expire after a stated period (if applicable).

​

6. Digital Services or Online Coaching (If Applicable)

​

If you offer online consultations, coaching, or digital content:

  • Refunds are not available once the service has been delivered or access has been granted

  • This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty digital content under UK consumer law

​

7. Statutory Rights

​

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

​

8. Changes to This Policy

​

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
